The story begins in early 2005 when MINKPINK hit the Australian fashion scene. Determined to offer the market something new and different, the team takes influence and inspiration from high-end designers, current trends, street styling and vintage pieces, working hard to produce fresh and flattering garments full of signature MINKPINK personality.
The entire team bubbles over with enthusiams, ideas and a passion to create garments that are fun, fashionable, affordable and well, just plain fabulous! Each piece is designed with the evryday fashionista in mind - aiming to be fit friendly and work back with an existing wardrobe to create individuale style.
As the years have rolled by, MINKPINK has gone from strength to strength. Fuelled by word-of-mouth and reputation their fan base and stockists have skyrocked - currently the label is stocked in over 400 boutiques throughout Australia and New Zealand, and everyday the list is growing.
Most recently the brand has branched out internationally with iconic American (Macys, Urban Outfitters), Canadian (Aritza) and Japanese retailers clamoring to stock MINKPINK.

Wish designer Annette Cannock grew up in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with fashion in her blood. Annette’s innately stylish mother owned an elegant boutique in the city’s original Hilton, the grand dame of Sydney hotels located at the very heart of the shopping and entertainment district. World leaders and dignitaries, socialites and movie stars bought the world’s latest eveningwear styles and designs in a wealth of the most sumptuous fabrics. Annette’s passion for beautiful clothes was born as she began to recreate styles she saw, designing gorgeous gowns and perfect dresses for herself and her sisters. The Wish label emulates the luxurious fabrics and sheer beauty of the garments Annette loved as a child.
An instinctive fashion forecaster Annette has a divine ability to sense next season’s most addictive trends, creating collections that are perfectly positioned for the Wish generation’s zeitgeist.
Having worked in the fashion industry in Sydney, Annette first began creating her own designs from a Surry Hills studio, perfecting individual signature pieces which were injected into boutiques as highlight items, today Annette oversee’s the creation of seasonal collections for Wish, Truese and Azuki.
An eclectic mix of visionary creator and pragmatic woman Annette believes that every garment should be perfectly beautiful but ultimately completely wearable.
Annette sees inspiration everywhere, whether she is searching for unique fashion treasures in Sydney markets and Melbourne boutiques or walking the streets of Asia where the rich use of colour and fabric sets her creativity alight. Her mind’s eye is constantly seeing new looks and yet more perfect prints.
Deeply in love with fashion, creating beautiful garments for her loyal following is for this designer truly a Wish come true.

Established in the early 90’s Religion firmly rooted itself to early club culture; when music was chemically inspired and beliefs were publicly expressed on statement tees. Initially developed as a niche t-shirt range, Religion’s blend of anarchic graphics and commercial attributes has pushed the brand to the forefront of the fashion and media spotlight. It’s ‘no fear policy’ of experimenting with design techniques, washes and trends has given the brand its diverse appeal; distressed garments with a rock star edge.
Religion is devoted to the pursuit of individual style; lyrical quotes, musical muses and British heritage has always been a heavy influence behind every collection. Inspiration from London’s east end and international street culture has been integral in shaping the brand’s much loved signature.
Religion’s innovative design strategy has made it a must have for fashion fanatics, creating a huge celebrity following from Agyness Deyn, Girls Aloud, Kate Moss, Paris Hilton and Kylie Minogue.
In the past Religion has collaborated with Smiley, DC Comics and Warner Bros as well as major clubs and DJs across Europe including Space, Ministry of Sound and Ibiza Rocks.

PEPE JEANSPepe Jeans London. A Brief History (take from the Pepe Jeans Website) The year is 1973, David Bowie has just released Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, ´Slades Cum On Feel The Noize´was blaring out on stereos everywhere, Marlon Brando refuses to accept his Oscar as a protest against the plight of native american indians, Mean Streets, Live And Let Die, Paper Moon and Serpico are filling up the cinemas and Evel Knievel is the hero of the moment.
Meanwhile, three brothers from Kenya are hatching an evil plan. Nitin, Arun & Milan Shah are dreaming of setting up a british jeans brand that was going to conquer the world. From very very humble beginnings the three rented a market stall on the Portobello Road in West London every saturday, every week, without fail. Even whilst all of them held down other full-time jobs.
Little did they know what was about to happen. Within a very short space of time and for no other reason that the jeans were good quality and fitted well, business started to boom. In a matter of years they had to move everything into a 25,000 square metre warehouse and set up new office spaces to handle the amount of business they were handling. By 1980 Pepe Jeans London was rivalling all of the big US brands for No.1 spot in the market place, becoming the UKs most succesful jeans brand ever. Bruce Weber was invited to shoot the first BIG advertising campaign at this time and with an unknown, soon to be super model, Bridget Hall. Several other shoots by Weber featured Donovan Leitch and Ione Skye, and probably the most memorable one of all with Jason Priestly. Cinema & TV commercials soon followed featuring the likes of Leigh Bowery, sound tracks by The Smiths and a lot of bans by the censors for concepts which were just a little bit too naughty to get through.
Over the last 35 years Pepe has continued with maverick photographers, directors and talent and has had the pleasure of watching some of them grow into who they are today. Business is good, the product is established and we continue down lifes path to see what gets thrown at us next.
